Security cooperation, discussed by Dorin Recean with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson
The cooperation of the Republic of Moldova with the European Union in the security and internal affairs, the integration agenda of our country, as well as the current regional situation, in the context of the war in Ukraine, were the topics discussed by the Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, during the meeting with the European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson.

During the dialogue, the prime minister mentioned that the process of joining the European Union remains the strategic objective of our country. Dorin Recean mentioned that the efforts of the authorities are focused on carrying out reforms, with an emphasis on justice, attracting investments and economic recovery of the country.
For her part, Commissioner Ylva Johansson said that ensuring state security and the fight against corruption are the key factors that will contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova and the success of our European journey.
The European official appreciated the activity of the EU Security HUB in our country, within which the best security strategies implemented in other states are analyzed.
During the meeting, the officials also talked about the importance of continuing to support Ukraine, but also about the disinformation and hybrid war waged by the Russian Federation in our country.
