"If Trump wants to come, I'm even ready to go with him to the front line," Zelensky said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, February 17, according to DW.

"Decision-makers should know what war is really like, not just from Instagram," the Ukrainian president explained. He also thanked the United States for the military assistance already provided and said he would meet with several American congressmen on the sidelines of the Munich conference.

Trump has repeatedly claimed he'd end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours if elected. He has not clarified his methods, but Trump says he'll threaten to cut military aid to Ukraine while increasing it for Russia to negotiate.

Republicans in the US Congress have long blocked a new $60 billion military aid package for Ukraine. After weeks of negotiations, the Senate, where Democrats hold a majority, approved the package, but the House of Representatives, where Republicans are in the majority, could block it.

The US is the largest provider of military aid to Ukraine. Germany is in second place.
