How will the weather be on Christmas in the Republic of Moldova? Meteorologists' forecast
January 7 will start with variable skies across the country. According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), the thermometers will show maximums of up to four degrees during the day. The weather cools significantly at night, when the minimums will reach below 0 degrees Celsius. In some places, light mixed precipitation will fall, and ice will form on the roads.
During the night, in the north, it is expected to drop to -5°C. During the day, thermometers will indicate up to +2°C. In the centre, at night, it is forecast to be -4°C, and the maximum during the day will be +4°C. Minimums of up to -3°C are expected in the south of the country, and the maximum temperature will reach +4°C.
Radio Moldova recalls that today the Yellow Code for strong winds came into force. The warning will be maintained until 19:00, throughout the country.
