The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilița, is on a working visit to Germany from January 6-8. According to the Government, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers from Chisinau is to participate in the closed meeting of the parliamentary group of the Christian-Social Union in the German Bundestag. The agenda also includes meetings with high-ranking European and German officials, including the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.
According to the Executive, during the traditional meeting at the beginning of the year of the CSU group, the current security and economic challenges, the issue of migration, but also the consequences of the war started by the Russian Federation against Ukraine on Germany and the whole of Europe will be discussed.
The Head of the Executive from Chisinau will give a speech to the German parliamentarians, after which she will hold a press conference together with the leader of the CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Alexander Dobrindt.
Also, according to the Executive, Natalia Gavrilița will have a series of bilateral meetings with the president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, with the leader of the EPP group in the European Parliament, president of the European People's Party, MEP Manfred Weber, but also with other officials and businessmen from Germany.
