The US will provide $53 million to support Ukraine's electricity system

The United States of America (USA) has announced a financial package for Ukraine in the amount of 53 million dollars for the purchase of equipment for electrical networks.

According to a State Department statement, the equipment will be urgently delivered to Ukraine to help Kiev fight Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure. This new assistance will contribute to the restoration of emergency electricity and thermal energy in the localities affected by Russia's attacks on the energy system in Ukraine, reads the statement.
