Moldova's Post Office Hit by Cyberattack, Services Disrupted
Specialists are working to restore the Moldovan Post Office's information system following a cyberattack yesterday that disrupted postal and financial services.
The announcement was made by government spokesperson Daniel Vodă.
"The authorities are taking this incident seriously. An inter-institutional team is working to ensure that such cybersecurity incidents do not happen in the future. All efforts are focused on the complete and secure recovery of the affected systems, as well as investigating this attack," said Vodă.
It should be recalled that the Moldovan Post Office was subjected to a cyberattack yesterday, which caused technical problems in the information system.
Last year, the company was the target of attempted scams, when fake messages and dubious links were sent to citizens on its behalf.
