Two suspects targeted by PCCOCS and SIS for promoting fascist messages and denying the Holocaust on social media

A 34-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy from Chisinau are under criminal investigation for promoting, during 2023, fascist and anti-Semitic messages and denying the Holocaust on a Telegram channel. According to the General Prosecutor's Office, they were summoned to the PCCOCS for questioning.

According to the information presented, the law enforcement officers established that both the 34-year-old man and the 17-year-old teenager, who comes from a family of lawyers, were active supporters of the fascist ideology that they promoted on the Internet, including in the context of the current Israeli-Palestinian armed conflict.

A criminal case was started. After the suspects were summoned to the prosecutor's office, the Telegram channel was deleted, according to the statement of the General Prosecutor's Office.

PCCOCS states that investigations are ongoing, during which individuals benefit from the presumption of innocence, according to the law.
