The UAE has provided Ukraine with 2,500 electric generators
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has offered Ukraine another 1,300 electric generators as part of a package consisting of 2,500 generators provided to the Ukrainian state as humanitarian aid - according to an announcement made by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Arab Emirates, Dmytro Senik, reports Ukrinform.
"Thanks to the implementation of the agreements agreed by the presidents of Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates, it was possible to carry out this significant humanitarian project for the Ukrainian people. Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates for the effective and important assistance provided to Ukrainians who are living through one of the most difficult winters in their history, when Russia is openly committing a crime of genocide against them by deliberately destroying Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The supplied generators will bring heat and light to Ukrainian families in this winter of war," the ambassador said.
The plane with the second batch of household generators arrived in Warsaw on Friday. The first 1,200 generators were sent to Poland and later transported to Ukraine on 24 December.
