EBRD will offer the Republic of Moldova a loan of 150 million euros for repairing some national roads
The Republic of Moldova will borrow 150 million euros for the implementation of projects for repairing some national roads. The executive today approved the ratification of a loan agreement in this regard between our country and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. With this money, 2 road sectors are to be modernized - the Chisinau City Belt and the section from the border with Romania and the Ukrainian one, said the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Andrei Spînu.
"It is a loan of 150 million euros that will be used for two important segments: the M1 and M2 road, that is, the belt of the city of Chisinau, sector 2, which will be expanded to four lanes, approximately up to 7 km. We are talking from the road from Leușeni to the Pruncul bridge", declared the minister. The loan contracted from the EBRD will be offered in two installments and is to be ratified by the Parliament.
