Moldova Advances on European Integration Plans

Progress on European integration and plans to strengthen the European Integration Office were discussed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov and the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, Falk Lange.

They also discussed how to incorporate the Government's priorities into the Council of Europe's future Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova, covering 2025-2028.

The Council of Europe implements several projects in Moldova aimed at strengthening the judicial system, improving electoral legislation, combating corruption and money laundering, combating discrimination and hate speech, reforming the penitentiary system and local public administration, protecting children, and supporting refugees from Ukraine.
