Over 46 thousand people crossed the state border in the last 24 hours
Seven people were banned from entering the Republic of Moldova. Although the reason for the refusal was not reported, the Border Police informs that several violations were registered in the last 24 hours. Most of them referred to the violation of the rules for the use of the vignette, the regime of the crossing points and that of the border area, but also the rules of staying in the territory of the country.
According to the Border Police, in the last 24 hours, the state border was crossed by more than 46 thousand people, a larger number being recorded on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova - just over 23 thousand. More than half of them were foreign citizens, the rest were Moldovans.
The most "active" border was with Romania, followed by the Moldovan-Ukrainian border and the airport.
With reference to the crossing of the border by the citizens of Ukraine, a total number of about 11 thousand crossings was recorded.
