LIVE Government convenes session. Only one draft decision on the agenda

The Government meeting is about to begin. The agenda includes changes to a previous decision regarding the initiation of negotiations and the approval of the signing of the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Moldova, the Forestry Society of the Deposit and Consignment Fund and the French Development Agency. The subject is presented by the new Minister of the Environment, Sergiu Lazarencu, inaugurated today.

Government Crisis Cell starts its activity

The crisis cell is activated today. According to Prime Minister Dorin Recean, its purpose is to ensure good management of potential emergencies. Thus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will boost patrols on public routes and at festive events and will manage road traffic in crowded areas. The General Inspectorate for Emergencies will be responsible for fire prevention.

With love and longing, thousands of Moldovans abroad send parcels with goodies to their families at home during this period. On the eve of the winter holidays, transport companies come to Chisinau with minibuses full of gifts. But they also return to European destinations with traditional dishes. The Moldovans we met while sending parcels to relatives abroad told us they included gifts: wine, fruit and sweets, so they could have a celebration like at home.
