The deputies of the parliamentary majority approved, with 57 votes, the lifting of the immunity of deputy Marina Tauber. This is after the acting general prosecutor, Ion Munteanu, came before the deputies and requested from the main tribune of the Parliament, the lifting of the parliamentary immunity of the deputy Marina Tauber. She is accused of "interfering with the administration of justice", Munteanu said.
"On April 12, 2023, at the Chisinau Court of Appeal, the extension session of the examination of the case accusing Ilan Șor of committing crimes was held, examined by the panel of judges Ion Bulhag, Silvia Gîrbu and Marcela Jugănari, being at the stage of judicial debates. Marina Tauber, using the high-powered speaker, megaphone, sent an offensive and threatening message to the judges and state prosecutors".

UPDATE The PAS deputy, Eugeniu Sinchevici, was disturbed by the fact that Marina Tauber's immunity was requested to be lifted 13 times, and none of the files have been finalised. "The prosecution now comes before us and requests for the 13th time the lifting of the immunity of Mrs. Tauber, a representative of the criminal group Şor. In addition to Ms. Tauber, the Prosecutor's Office requested the lifting of the immunity of other representatives of the criminal group, but to no avail. I feel that we, here in the Parliament, seem to be playing with lifting immunity (...). When are you going to start working and when are we going to see finality on the cases to which we raise immunity?"
UPDATE*“Professional ethics do not allow me to answer in the same tone in which I received the question, but I think it would be appropriate. If you have followed carefully, all the requests to lift the immunity that I submitted from this forum, the criminal cases related to this request are in the court of law on the judges' table"*, replied the acting general prosecutor.
UPDATE MP Marina Tauber asked questions to Ion Munteanu: "Where is Mr. Robu (n.red. Dumitru), how many times have you lifted my immunity and what does high power mean?". The prosecutor did not answer the question.
