Electricity to get cheaper cheaper
Starting next week, residents of the Republic of Moldova will pay less for electricity. A decision in this sense is to be approved by the National Energy Regulatory Agency, in the meeting on Tuesday, March 19.
According to a draft decision, final consumers in the central and southern regions of the country could pay five bani less for light, if ANRE approves the request of Premier Energy. This asked for the tariff to be reduced to 2 lei and 34 bani compared to the current tariff of 2 lei and 39 bani.
Also, according to another draft decision, for Moldovans in the north of the country, electricity could be cheaper by four bani. This after the FFE Nord operator requested a reduction in the tariff from 2 lei and 88 bani to 2 lei and 84 bani.
We remind you that the last review of electricity tariffs was carried out last November 10, when the electricity tariffs provided by Premier Energy were reduced by 23 bani - from 2.57 lei to 2.34 lei, and from FEE Nord - with 32 bani, from 3.2 lei to 2.88 lei for one kilowatt/hour.
