A new massive attack in Odessa. Maia Sandu: "My heart goes to Odessa"
At least 16 people died and 55 others were injured, today, following a missile bombardment launched by the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian city of Odesa. The governor of the region Oleg Kiper said that the number of victims could be higher and is being established.
Also, March 16 will be declared a day of mourning in Odessa.
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, sent a message on the X social network after this attack, in which she declared that Russia's war against Ukraine has no limits and that Ukraine urgently needs help to defend itself and to defend peace in Europe. "My heart goes to Odessa", wrote Maia Sandu.
Also, the governor of Russia's Belgrorod region, Viacheslav Gladkov, announced that a member of the territorial defense forces was killed and two other Ukrainians were injured in a bombing on Friday.
On the night of Thursday to Friday, two people were killed and three others were injured in Vinnytsia, in central Ukraine, in a Russian drone attack, according to Governor Serhii Borzov.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced that it shot down 27 Russian Shahed drones that targeted six regions - Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv.
