Electricity is getting cheaper. The new tariffs, approved by ANRE

Consumers in all districts of the country will pay less for electricity, provided by the two operators - Premier Energy and FEE Nord. These decisions were approved by the National Energy Regulatory Agency, in the meeting of March 19.

Thus, household consumers in the center and south of the country, served by the "Premier Energy" company, will pay 2 lei and 34 bani for light, or five bani less than at present.

A similar situation is also in the case of "Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord" SA. For final consumers, whose installations are connected to the low-voltage electrical distribution networks (domestic consumers), ANRE approved a tariff of 2 lei and 84 bani/kWh, by four bani lower than the current tariff.

The new tariffs will enter into force on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
