The Republic of Moldova received direct budget support of 30 million dollars from the USA

The Republic of Moldova received direct budget support of USD 30 million from the United States of America (USA) through the US Agency for International Development (USAID) late last year.

The funds will be used to overcome the energy crisis, including to offset the bills of our citizens and help economic agents to cope with the high prices of energy resources. Mobilizing these resources will help lessen the impact of Russia's war in Ukraine and help address our country's critical needs.
