Russia plans to produce kamikaze drones in Toliatti

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksi Danilov, claims that Russia intends to produce Iranian kamikaze drones, in the city of Toliatti, in the Samara region, informs UKRINFORM, cited by Rador.

"We know a place, it's called Toliatti, where (the Russians - n.d.) intend to do all this (produce drones - n.d.). There are other cities too. Our intelligence service works simply flawlessly in many matters, and we understand in advance what steps they (the Russians, n.r.) may take," Danilov noted. According to him, many companies refuse to supply parts for these drones, so it is not known how will the Russians replace the necessary components. "What they will make their drones from - a big question," added the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in Kyiv. We remind that, according to Vadim Skibitsky, the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) in the Ukrainian army, Russia used about 660 Shahed drones out of the 1,750 stipulated in the contract concluded with the Iranian side. Currently, Russia is waiting for a new batch of drones from Iran.
