Ina Coșeru will participate in the COSAC plenary meeting
The President of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Ina Coșeru, will participate in the Plenary Meeting of the Presidents of the conference of parliamentary committees for union affairs of parliaments of the EU (COSAC). The event will take place between March 24-26, in Brussels, being hosted by the European Parliament.
According to a press release from the Parliament, the participants of the Meeting will listen to the 41st half-yearly report of COSAC and discuss the open strategic autonomy.
At the same time, on the sidelines of the meeting, Ina Coșeru will have bilateral meetings with several officials and counterparts from different countries.
COSAC is a forum established in 1989, for cooperation, exchange of information and best practices between the national parliaments of the EU member states and the European Parliament. COSAC's objective is to facilitate discussions between members of national parliaments and MEPs on the practical aspects of parliamentary control of European affairs.
