Curăraru Emphasises EU's Vital Role in Ukraine Support
Currently, the nations within the European Union are increasingly undertaking the responsibility of supporting Ukraine, as the United States directs its attention towards resolving internal matters, according to political commentator Andrei Curăraru.
During the "Parallel 47" program on Radio Moldova, Curăraru emphasised the significance of the Contact Group Meeting for supporting Ukraine in Ramstein, Germany, which was attended by Anatolie Nosatîi, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova.
Curăraru remarked, "Europe is increasingly assuming the responsibility of supporting Ukraine, amidst the internal crisis unfolding in the USA. France's remarkable engagement, both financially and militarily, underscores this commitment. The restructuring of Europe's military sector is evidently a time-consuming process, and Ukraine cannot afford prolonged delays. The absence of adequate weaponry support results in loss of lives. In my view, this gathering signifies a shift in this framework and the adoption of new leadership responsibilities."
It is noteworthy that the Ramstein Meeting, held on March 19, deliberated upon the prevailing security conditions in the region, the Ukrainian crisis, and the assistance priorities for the neighbouring nation.
