4 Dead in Hungary Rally Car Crash
A rally car lost control and crashed into a group of spectators in Hungary on Sunday, killing four people and injuring several others, including some critically, according to police reports.
The accident occurred during a rally between the towns of Labatlan and Bajot, near the Danube River in northwestern Hungary, police in Komárom-Esztergom county said in a statement.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Eight ambulances and four rescue helicopters were dispatched to the scene, according to RTL.hu.
The Esztergom-Nyerges Rally was immediately halted following the accident.
