LIVE Government meeting // Draft decision on the indexation of pensions by 6%, on the agenda
Startng with April 1, pensions will be indexed by 6 percent, according to a draft decision to be examined today by the Executive. Also, the Ministry of Justice will present to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval a document that includes new provisions regarding the food and provision of hygiene items to detainees.
The regulation on adult education is also included in the agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers today. In a note, it is stated that adult education is part of lifelong learning, which starts after the completion of the first stage of education, regardless of the level at which the initial training was interrupted. This ensures continuous access to science, information, culture and includes all organized educational processes, regardless of content, level and method, in a formal, non-formal or informal setting, with the aim of facilitating the flexible adaptation of the individual to the constantly changing socioeconomic realities and to develop the necessary skills for professional and social activity.
Also, the Government will approve a draft decision regarding the initiation of negotiations and the approval of the signing of the Memorandum of Responsibilities between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the 34th session of the FAO Regional Conference for Europe.
