Dorin Recean and Igor Grosu leave for Bucharest. Moldovan officials will participate in the second edition of the Forum Moldova - Romania: Capital Bridges

Prime Minister Dorin Recean and the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, will pay a working visit to Bucharest on Wednesday, March 27, where they will participate in the second edition of the Forum Moldova - Romania: Capital Bridges 2024. The event is organized by the Stock Exchange Values of Romania, which aims to promote economic cooperation and the interconnection of the capital market between both states.

"The event promotes solid economic cooperation and the interconnection of the capital markets between the Republic of Moldova and Romania. The Prime Minister Recean will talk about the need for more investments, more economic contacts between agencies and businessmen on both banks of the Prut," said the Government's spokesperson, Daniel Vodă. Macroeconomic reforms, investment opportunities and progress in the banking sector in the Republic of Moldova will be discussed at the Forum, paving the way for the improvement of bilateral economic relations in the context of the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU and the huge support that Romania offers in this regard.

The president of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciucă, the Romanian prime minister, Marcel Ciolacu, the president of the EBRD, Odile Renaud-Basso, the governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Anca Dragu, the governor of the National Bank of Romania, Mugur Isărescu, and the presidents of the financial supervision authorities of both states will also participate in the event. The delegation of the Government of the Republic of Moldova will include ministers Dumitru Alaiba and Petru Rotaru, said Daniel Vodă.
