106 years since the Union of Bessarabia with Romania // Maia Sandu: "Thank you for the constant support dedicated to improving the lives of Moldovan citizens"
"The best way to celebrate 106 years since the Union of Bessarabia with Romania is to highlight the ties between the people on the two banks of the Prut," said President Maia Sandu in her message. In this context, the head of state thanked the Romanian state for its constant support dedicated to improving the lives of all Moldovan citizens.
"Romania helps the Republic of Moldova continuously and unconditionally. This is just a part of the huge support provided by Romania over the years. The best way to celebrate 106 years since the Union of Bessarabia with Romania is to highlight the ties between the people on the two banks of the Prut, to thank Romania for its constant support dedicated to improving the lives of all citizens of the Republic of Moldova and to continue working for a developed and free state, alongside Romania, in the great European family", said Maia Sandu.
The president presented more information on how Romania supports the Republic of Moldova, allocating financial resources for the renovation of kindergartens, the procurement of school buses, the interconnection to the electricity and natural gas networks and the implementation of several social projects.
