Marcel Spatari: Half a million families in the Republic of Moldova are in the category of very high energy vulnerability
About 70% of the people who registered on the government platform to receive compensation for bills in the cold period of the year are in the highest category of energy vulnerability, claims the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Marcel Spatari, in a show from RLIVE.
According to the official, it would be half a million families from the Republic of Moldova.
"More than 70% of those who submitted applications will be in the maximum vulnerability category, 700 thousand households. In the category of very high energy vulnerability are families who, after paying a minimum consumption basket for food products, hygiene products, around 3500 lei for one person and around 2400 lei for the following people in the household, after they have covered these expenses, they don't have enough money to pay their electricity bills. Practically, the energy ate their entire monthly budget, it would be around half a million families from the Republic of Moldova", said Marcel Spatari.
