President Sandu Discusses US Aid to Ukraine and Moldova's Role
The imperative to sustain United States assistance to Ukraine, pivotal in resisting Russian aggression and thereby upholding peace in Moldova, featured prominently in President Maia Sandu's recent meeting with Penny Pritzker, the U.S. special representative for Ukrainian economic reconstruction.
Sandu also conveyed appreciation for aid in overcoming various challenges, spanning energy, economic, security, and humanitarian realms over the past two years, along with acknowledging the steadfast partnership since Moldova's independence.
Furthermore, discussions revolved around Moldova's role in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts. President Sandu affirmed Moldova's readiness to host companies engaged in neighbouring Ukraine's restoration endeavours, facilitating their access to both Ukraine and investment opportunities.
