Moldova Receives Romanian Aid: Details on Distribution and Support for Farmers
The initial allocation of the 4,000 tons of diesel fuel, supplied by Romania to the Republic of Moldova as external humanitarian aid, has reached Căușeni.
This provision, transported in a convoy of 26 tanker wagons, totaling 1,336 tons, is slated for distribution to the ultimate beneficiaries, as confirmed by the Material Reserves Agency (ARM).
Beneficiaries will receive notifications through the Intervention and Payments Agency for Agriculture (AIPA), the county councils (Agricultural Directorates), and via ARM's official website.
To obtain the diesel fuel, beneficiaries must furnish a specific set of documents, including a duly authenticated copy of their ID card, a certified copy of the extract/certificate of registration of the enterprise or peasant household, along with the authorised stamp.
AIPA has received 1,546 requests pertaining to the external humanitarian assistance provided by Romania, aimed at aiding farmers affected by the 2022 drought. As per the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the support allocated to selected recipients will amount to approximately 40 litres per hectare.
