Residents of Balti municipality will pay more for heating. CET-Nord asked the National Energy Regulatory Agency for a tariff of three thousand 948 lei for one gigacalorie, that is, 800 lei more, compared to the tariff approved in October.

CET-Nord justifies its request due to the increased price of natural gas, which generates higher costs for thermal energy production. Currently, the people of Balți pay 3052 lei for one gigacalorie. The last increase was carried out by one thousand lei three months ago. At the beginning of the year, the inhabitants of the municipality paid 2155 lei for one gigacalorie.

The national police uses 20 smart cars to detect traffic violations and eight more are to be put on the roads soon, the head of the General Inspectorate of Police, Viorel Cernăuțeanu, told Teleradio-Moldova.
