Enhancing Moldova's Defence: Insights from Latvia Ministerial Talks
The collaboration between Moldova and Latvia in military affairs, discussions on future prospects, and support for Moldova's defense capabilities were subjects of discussion between Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi and his Latvian counterpart, Andris Sprūds.
As per an official statement from the Ministry of Defense, the officials also delved into the peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Lebanon involving Moldovan troops, as well as Moldova's commitment to augmenting its contribution to global peace and security. Moreover, both ministers exchanged views regarding the regional security landscape.
Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi undertook an official visit to Riga, Latvia, from April 3rd to 4th, upon the invitation of his Latvian counterpart, Andris Sprūds.
