Israeli Military Warns Iran: Consequences Await Aggression
Iran is warned by the Israeli military that it will face consequences for its actions exacerbating the current situation.
This caution comes in response to Tehran's threats of reprisals, aligning with the Palestinian movement Hamas.
"We have bolstered our preparations to shield Israel from any further Iranian aggression. We are also prepared to respond," stated Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli army, in a public declaration.
The Israeli military asserts that its fighter jets have recently targeted Hezbollah sites in four different areas in southern Lebanon, as reported by the Times of Israel. These targets encompassed buildings utilised by the terrorist group in Houla and Bayt Lif, along with two Hezbollah command centres in Odaisseh and Taybeh. Additionally, the IDF disclosed opening fire in an area near Rmeish to neutralise a perceived threat.

Meanwhile, on April 13, the maritime special forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Islamic Republic, seized a shipping container allegedly linked to Israel in the Gulf, according to Digi24.
Earlier, two maritime security agencies reported the seizure of a vessel by "regional authorities" off the coast of the United Arab Emirates on Saturday. British security firm Ambrey claimed to have witnessed three individuals swiftly descending from a helicopter onto what appeared to be a shipping container.
Due to the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, the Netherlands has announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran as a precautionary measure. Further deliberations will determine whether the embassy will reopen. Similar cautionary measures have been issued by France, Germany, Canada, and the United States, advising citizens against travel to the region.
The United States anticipates Iranian strikes against multiple targets in Israel in the coming days and stands prepared to assist in intercepting any weapons aimed at its ally. President Joe Biden has issued a stern public warning, asserting a categorical "No" to Tehran's aggression, foreseeing imminent attacks.
