Improving the business environment in the country, discussed by Natalia Gavrilița with foreign investors

Possibilities for improving the business environment, increasing the number of new jobs, have been discussed by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița during the meeting with the members of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA).

During the talks with FIA members, a series of systemic questions were addressed that have an impact on companies operating in the Republic of Moldova, including the provisions of the Fiscal and Customs Policy for 2023, the state of affairs in the agricultural sector, the initiatives launched in the field of telecommunications, the market workforce, renewable energy and other topics.

The President of the Association of Foreign Investors, Alexander Koss, welcomed the Government's openness towards the business environment, giving as an example the fact that about 75% of the FIA's proposals, included in the last edition of the "White Book", have already been or are in the process of being implemented. The "White Book" is a brochure published once every two years, which includes recommendations for improving the business environment in the country.
