Twenty four new ambulances assigned to emergency medical assistance teams from the Republic of Moldova
Twenty four new ambulances have been assigned today to emergency medical assistance teams in the capital and in several districts.
Seventeen vehicles are type C and will be assigned to the substations of the National Center for Emergency Medical Care which have resuscitation teams, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Ion Prisăcaru, said.
"With the help of these, the efficiency of providing qualified first aid will be increased. In the case of major medical-surgical emergencies, the ambulances are equipped with vital function monitoring equipment to allow the patient to be transported to the nearest specialized medical institution", declared Ion Prisăcaru.
Radio Moldova recalls that in June 2022, the park of the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care was renewed with 30 new ambulances. They were procured as part of a fleet modernization project.
