The Republic of Moldova and Norway will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation in the energy field
A Memorandum of cooperation in the field of energy between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Norway will be signed in Oslo, by the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov and his Norwegian counterpart, Terje Aasland. According to a press release from the Ministry of Energy in Chisinau, the purpose of the document is to strengthen Moldovan-Norwegian cooperation in the energy field and to create mutually beneficial investment opportunities.
According to the agenda of the state visit of President Maia Sandu to Norway, the document will be signed on Tuesday, May 7, during the energy round table at the Norwegian Development Cooperation Agency.
We remind that between May 6-7, the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, pays a state visit to the Kingdom of Norway. The delegation also includes Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popșoi and Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi.
The members of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Kingdom of Norway will have a series of meetings with the Norwegian Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, the president of the Legislative, Masud Gharahkhani and with the members of the parliamentary committee for foreign affairs and defense.
