Four Ukrainians tried to illegally cross the Moldovan-Ukrainian border

Four Ukrainians are being documented by the police after they tried to illegally cross the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. The incident happened last weekend, in the area of responsibility of the Larga Border Police Sector.

According to the Border Police, the information regarding the illegal crossing of the four migrants came from their Ukrainian counterparts. As a result, the joint patrol of border guards and a FRONTEX officer observed a group of men walking towards the country.

At the hearings, the foreigners communicated that in order to reach our country they would have paid 10,000 euros per person on the territory of Ukraine.

Migrants applied for asylum on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Next, the border police officers from the Nord Regional Directorate investigate the cases under all legal aspects in order to elucidate the circumstances.
