European Night of Museums starts
Hundreds of tourist attractions can be visited on the occasion of the European Night of Museums, claims the spokesperson of the Government, Daniel Vodă. According to him, most of the events will start this morning.
"This Saturday, May 18, the Night of Museums will take place throughout the country. Hundreds of tourist attractions will be visited on this occasion. The Night of Museums is the traditional gathering of people who want to visit museums, galleries, memorial houses, but also other types of cultural institutions. On Saturday, the lights will be on and the doors will be open at these cultural institutions. In most cases the events will start from Saturday morning and will last until midnight. Thus, the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History, the National History Museum of Moldova, the National Art Museum of Moldova, the National Museum of Romanian Literature, but also the Orheiul Vechi Cultural Reserve prepared various artistic programs, performances, workshops, and other activities for children and adults", said Daniel Vodă.
We remind that the European Night of Museums has reached its 20th edition and is held in the Republic of Moldova, as well as in other European countries.
In Chisinau, the program will include a variety of events, including visiting permanent and temporary exhibitions of museums, innovative projects carried out by talented students from educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova, as well as exhibitions and special activities organized in partnership with other cultural and educational institutions .

One of the unmissable moments is the opening of the temporary exhibition "A history of the oldest civilization in Romania - Neamț Citadel", organized by the National History Museum of Moldova, in collaboration with the Constanța National Museum of History and Archeology in Romania.
Also, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in various interactive activities, such as art exhibitions, creative workshops, demonstrations of traditional crafts,etc.
The National Art Museum of Moldova will join the celebration with a special program that includes an amazing light projection on the facade of the museum building, accompanied by a musical background created by Mircea-Florin and animation by the artist from Bucharest - Adistu.
During the event, the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History organizes a variety of activities and shows for all visitors, such as: fairs, musical recitals, but also the opening of the "Laugh and Cry" caricature exhibition.
