The 19th Congress of the European Constitutional Courts takes place in Chisinau

About 40 foreign delegations are participating, today and tomorrow, in the 19th Congress of the European Constitutional Courts, which will take place in Chisinau. During the event, the guests will visit the Government and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, informs the Constitutional Court in a press release.

According to the source, more than 100 participants, presidents and judges of European constitutional courts, observers and guests of honor, high-level officials are expected at the congress.

Thus, during the period 21-24 May, between 08:00 and 18:00, access to certain public places in the center of Chisinau and the arteries that connect to the Chisinau International Airport is temporarily limited, reads a press release from the Chisinau City Hall. Also, it is forbidden to carry out mass demonstrations, road repair works and tree cutting in the perimeter of the streets where the official columns will move.

Motorists are urged to comply with the requirements of traffic officials.
