Nicolae Negru: The signing of the Pact for Europe is a sign of the consolidation of right-wing parties
The political analyst, Nicolae Negru, claims that the signing of the Pact for Europe represents good news for society, a sign of the consolidation of the parties between which there was previously a strong rivalry. According to him, now these formations oblige themselves to integrate our society into the European Union.
*"It's a sign of the consolidation of right-wing pro-European political forces. If until now there was a rivalry, animosities between them, now they oblige themselves to integrate our society, our economy, our state in the EU. It is true that nothing is being said about the referendum in the fall, but I believe that in the context of signing this document that all these parties will work together to convince citizens that European integration is the best way for economic development, for the well-being of citizens. I did not see some parties, for example the Liberal Party. Probably the Liberal Party considers itself a unionist and believes that European integration must be done through Romania. But the main right-wing political forces also sign the ruling party, which speaks of the fact that a common denominator has been reached. Indeed, as it says in the declaration, without unity, without social cohesion, without national solidarity, strategic things, such as European integration, cannot be achieved" said the analyst.
We remind that most of the signatory formations were represented by presidents, with the exception of the Action and Solidarity Party, which delegated the general secretary of the formation, Artur Mija, the National Alternative Movement, represented by Gaik Vartanean, of the Development and Consolidation Party of Moldova, represented by vice-president Fadei Nagacevschi and the Green Ecologist Party of Moldova, which was represented by vice-president Anatolie Prohnițchi.
