Moldova Presents Economic Policy at Brussels Screening Session
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova presented Chapter 17: Economic and Monetary Policy, managed by the Ministry of Finance, during the explanatory screening session in Brussels.
The session's agenda included discussions on the acquis in economic and monetary policy, focusing on economic policy coordination, fiscal supervision, economic governance evaluation, the national budgetary framework, central bank independence, direct financing of the public sector by central banks, and the privileged access of the public sector to financial institutions, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Additionally, explanatory screening meetings will occur this week in Brussels for two other chapters managed by the Ministry of Finance: Chapter 16 - Taxation and Chapter 33 - Financial and Budgetary Provisions.
