Moldova Rings in End-of-Year School Celebrations
The End-of-Year Ceremony, also known as "The Last Ring of the Bell," is held in schools across Moldova today.
The Ministry of Education and Research has announced that the ceremony will last up to 45 minutes and each school will organise it according to a format decided by its Teachers' Council.
Class teachers will hold discussions with students regarding the past academic year (2023-2024), with a particular focus on summer vacation safety procedures. Students will also be individually informed about their academic achievements in their respective subjects this year.
It is worth noting that some schools held their End-of-Year Ceremonies on May 30th. Moldova 1’s Studio-l reports that Căușeni district's largest high school held its ceremonies over two consecutive days to avoid large crowds and allow for a more in-depth celebration of all students' accomplishments.
