Planned Military Activity in Moldova

The Ministry of Defense of Moldova has announced the relocation of military equipment belonging to several National Army units during May-July 2024.

The equipment will be moved from permanent bases to temporary locations.

To minimise disruption to civilian traffic, military vehicles will travel on national roads in central and northern Moldova during nighttime hours. This deployment is a routine operation scheduled as part of the National Army's 2024 Activity Plan and is not relevant to the current regional security situation.

The Ministry of Defense urges Moldovan citizens to refrain from disseminating information that has not been confirmed by official sources.
