Water and sewerage fees in the municipality of Chisinau could increase by around 38%
Water and sewage fees in the municipality of Chisinau could become more expensive by almost 38%. The "Apă-Canal Chisinau" enterprise has submitted a request to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) through which it requests an increase in the tariff for water and sewage from 16.15 lei to 22.22 lei per cubic meter.
The enterprise justifies its request by the real need to finance expenses to cover operational costs at current prices.
Currently, the tariff for water and sewage is 15.30 lei for domestic consumers and 24.46 lei for non-domestic consumers, tariffs already increased at the beginning of this year by 43%.
