The ministry said in a statement that full control of Soledar makes it possible to cut the supply routes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Bakhmut and to casemate the remaining units of the Ukrainian army there. This is not the first such message from Russia. Earlier, the head of Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, whose mercenaries are actively involved in the battles in this direction, claimed to have captured the city.
