General Police Inspectorate received 32 cars from the USA
32 cars were received today by the employees of the General Police Inspectorate from the US Government, said the head of the IGP, Viorel Cernăuțeanu. According to him, the cars will be used by the officers of the National Inspectorate for Public Security in patrol actions that will increase the safety of citizens.

"These means of transport will go, exclusively, only for the operational activity, they will replace part of those old means of transport, with more than half a million kilometers on board, to provide safety to all people on the territory of the Republic of Moldova".
During the event of handing over the lot of cars, the ambassador of the United States of America in Chisinau, Kent Logsdon, stated that from the beginning of 2022 until now, the USA has donated more than 320 million dollars to the Republic of Moldova, including 75 million donated to support Ukrainian refugees who are in our country.
