The first Peace Summit may be the first step towards a just end to Russia's war against Ukraine. This is the statement of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the Ukraine Peace Summit, Unian informs on the Telegram page.
According to the Ukrainian president, "when everyone agrees on the action plan, it will be sent to the representatives of Russia, so that the real end of the war can be established at the second peace summit."
The president also listed three issues that the participants plan to discuss. These are radiological and nuclear security, food security and humanitarian issues regarding the release of prisoners and deportees.
We mention that on June 15-16, the Ukraine Peace Summit takes place in Switzerland, where leaders from over 90 countries participate.
Present at the summit, President Maia Sandu conveyed the Republic of Moldova's strong commitment to peace.
