Lithuania will provide support to the Republic of Moldova in the process of implementing the Community acquis. The Minister of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, discussed the opportunity to collaborate with Lithuanian experts, at a meeting with her Lithuanian counterpart, Ewelina Dobrowolska.

The official assured that his country is with the Republic of Moldova in the process of integration into the European Union family.

During the visit to Vilnius, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru proposed the signing of a new action plan on the justice sector, between the two ministries. The previous plan, which ended on March 1, 2018, expired five years ago.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru will participate on Tuesday, June 18, at the International Anti-Corruption Conference, the largest independent global forum dedicated to the fight against corruption.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will present additional support measures for the population on Wednesday, after the National Energy Regulatory Agency examines and approves a new natural gas tariff, said Prime Minister Dorin Recean in the “Bună Seara” show on Moldova 1 TV. The Head of the Executive said that the Government will allocate more financial means for the payment of energy compensation.
