Limited Spots in Chisinau First Grade
More than 8,600 children in Chisinau have registered for first grade in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Andrei Pavaloi, Deputy Director of Education, Youth and Sports for Chisinau, announced the results following the conclusion of the second enrollment phase.
A third enrollment round will be held from August 20th to 30th for students who missed the initial deadlines. Parents can submit paper applications to schools with remaining open spots. Detailed information regarding the third round will be available on the websites of Chisinau's Department of Education and City Hall.
According to Pavaloi, there are 1,272 spots available in the third round. Schools with more applications than openings will notify parents about alternative enrollment options.
Chisinau's Department of Education had initially planned to enroll over 10,400 children in 368 first-grade classes for the upcoming academic year.
