EU Grants Romania €1.1 Billion for Green Energy Push
Romania has secured nearly €1.1 billion from the European Union to fund projects aimed at modernising its energy grids, with a particular focus on renewable energy production.
This announcement comes from the European Commission, which also revealed that an additional nine member states have received a total of €3 billion in funding for 39 programs.
Romania emerged as the top recipient of the funds, followed by the Czech Republic with over €835 million and Poland with €700 million.
