"Each step we take together brings us closer to the day of our country's accession to the European Union. The first Brussels-Chisinau intergovernmental conference was held today, which sets the start of negotiations in several areas. I thank everyone who made this moment possible in a fairly short period of time and I trust that we will continue to be determined for Moldova to be free, European and a country where peace is guaranteed", wrote the president Maia Sandu on socialization networks.
We remind that today, in Luxembourg, the first intergovernmental conference was held, during which the accession of our country to the community bloc was officially launched. In his speech, Prime Minister Dorin Recean declared that our country sees its future only in the great European family. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, who leads the delegation of our country in Luxembourg, the Republic of Moldova is taking substantial steps to strengthen its economy and to be a competitive member of the community bloc.
