On Sunday morning, police patrols informed the residents of Pavlovca and Larga to keep their distance and not approach the security zone imposed by the authorities for protection. Access to the area where the detonation will take place was also blocked. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities were also informed about the existence of the explosive from the warhead of the crashed missile.

According to the preliminary information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the warhead of the rocket is fed with approximately 80 kilograms of explosive material.

Radio Moldova recalls that on Saturday, January 14, remnants of a Russian missile fell on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in the town of Larga in the Briceni district, resulting from the Russian missile attacks launched on Ukraine. The authorities in Chisinau strongly condemned the attacks on the neighbouring country, stating that once again, our country was suffering, and Russia's barbaric attacks showed disrespect for our country's sovereignty.

It is the third case in which remnants of missiles from the bombing of Ukraine fall on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

On Saturday, Russia launched more than 30 missiles at Ukraine, 20 of which were shot down by the Ukrainian army, said the leader of Kyiv, Volodymyr Zelensky. However, the death toll is increasing by the hour, and those who are under the rubble of the Dnipro block are still unknown, the official noted. The death toll following the Russian missile attack on an apartment block in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro has reached 18 dead and 73 injured, according to the data announced this morning by the governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Valentyn Reznicenko. He stated that more than 40 of the injured people are in hospital, and four of them are in serious condition.
