Census 2024: Nearly 2.4 million people were surveyed
Almost 2.4 million people have been reviewed so far and more than 1.6 million homes have been registered throughout the country in the Population and Housing Census. The data were presented today, by the spokesperson of the Government, Daniel Vodă, at a press conference. He urged the citizens of this country, who are yet to be surveyed, to show unity because every man and house counts.
"The National Bureau of Statistics continues this national count, to find out how many people live on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, the housing and the socio-economic situation of the population. There are 11 days left, so we call on all residents who have not gone through the census process. Be sure to contact the Green Line, where you can see the data of the reviewer responsible for the region you come from. I remind you that participation in the National Population and Housing Census is mandatory. And the participants should show unity, because every person and house matters", said Daniel Vodă.
Thus, those who do not have the contacts of the reviewer responsible for the census sector where they live, can fill in the form on the website, with the necessary information, to be contacted by the reviewer in order to establish the date and time of the review, to send a message to the email address [email protected], providing the information about the home address. Another way is to call the Green Line 0800 800 24 (free call).
The 2024 Population and Housing Census began on April 8 and will end on July 7.
